Kluster Fuck - Crazymaker

At first the cover art seems to be crap but if you take a closer look at it, you will catch a great sense in it. Something like "by judging others we don't see how we are mistaken" ... or, probably, it was about "wrong, rotten view on world". But besides the cover there are some other things which we should pay attention to. For example, look at the color of this vinyl, it is a beautiful piece of green. Take it in your hands, feel the weight of this thing, and then carefully turn it around, can you see it? Do you see this beautiful and dark engraving? I don’t think there was no need for that, on the contrary - it was even necessary, because this small detail made the release even more beautiful.
Crazymaker is a debut work of this Danish band. Like any other band (or let’s say the majority), they tried to do their best and they managed. The most memorable thing about Kluster Fuck is a female vocals...the musical part is good, but not very original, but I enjoyed the way this girl screams. As for me, the vocal is what makes this record interesting. But there are some other things to tell you about. The sound here might be a little bit modern, but the energy this guys put in their music is very furious and powerful (this is a great advantage). Besides furious grindcore pieces, there are some d-beat parts...And apart from bone-crushing pressure, we could clearly catch the dark atmoshere (and this is the thing that creates a positive impression about the album).

Double Me / Han Solo

Take a look at how hardcore seeds richly sprouted on Italian soil! Every year, the roots penetrate and grow deeper, and the fruits of this plague are becoming more and more juicy. We are eating one of these fruits today. Although this split is not the latest one, it still did not lose its taste. Hmm, I recognize the style of the artist who designed the previous release - Double Me. Only now he portrayed bound hands covered with sores ... what a gloomy image! :)

Hmm, I note that the Double Me sounds a little denser on this release, which pleases us even more. Even the songs are a little fiercer and livelier. New and improved Double Me still mix hardcore, punk and powerviolence. The guys know what they're doing, and they always try to give it their all. Their side is easy to remember thanks to the simple, yet good rhythm, pleasant bass guitar intro and certainly evil, grim vocals.

But I somehow didn't get hooked on the tracks by their countrymen from Han Solo. Their record is too crude and noisy. The part that I could make out was not very bad. Hysterical screams, fast and aggressive pieces in songs. And Han Solo used only bass, which sounds very impressive. But despite all the efforts, the sound is what brought the guys down.

Prolefeed / War All The Time

We all know well how Englishmen love to mix different fast styles, so here again we have guys from nice cities called Newcastle and Leeds who have made a decision to show their skills in this deal. Basically, both bands are somehow similar to each other, they only differ in proportion of this or that musical ingridient. For example, Prolefeed use more punk in their songs when the other space is filled with grindcore and fastcore. This mixture is good by itself and good sound quality makes it even more colorful. The guys even managed to put 15 crazy dancing songs on this record (hysterical vocal, sharp guitars, loud bass and powerful drum sessions meet the cost of this release, hehe) and I'm sure you will enjoy it)))

War All The Time differ from their colleagues Prolefeed, the first thing is the sound. It ended up being very raw. Anyway it sounds good but if you ask me, I think such material deserves a better sound. There is more aggression in their songs, they have a little bit more fury... they have more grind to it than the guys from Newcastle have.

Godhole / Crozier

These Scottish collaboration is like a little clot of rage. Behind the pretty stylish design the pretty fucked-up recording is hidden. These two modern bands show us how nicely sick englishmen can be... but lets keep things in order
Hmm, it's pretty good idea to make a noisy intro and to kick the listener just the second after. Godhole made a solid sound with the metallized accents, not bad. Hard chaotic hardcore/powerviolence shoud be certain to the taste of all modern hardcore lovers. It's full of agression and that's good. But the recording itself is rather noisy.
Crozier is something experimental, noisy and screaming. A load of effects had been layered on the record make it more interesting. Chaotic rhythm comes as and electrical impulse through the ears. The guitars have a sharp sound as in Godhole, this makes them very similar. I can't say that this is 100% my cup of tea but it was very interesting to listen. Also on the track "Anthrophobia" we can even hear a few moments of black metal.

Dysteria ‎– Fuck The Future

Dysteria obviously approached their first LP album in a very responsible manner. The name of this album depicts the powerful hate of mankind...ant this is also well displayed in album's artwork...totally dried and cracked bottom of a lake...it is not just implying end of all living things, the message is very explicit. And the printing on a mat paper (check it) added some style to its externals.
I have noticed long time ago that englishmen love to make scary, depressive and filthy atmosphere... And they make it in various things, for example in pictures, films and music. You can feel that dark grey atmosphere of the old London (before the technological revolution) on this album. The sound here is rotted and filthy like an old wharf on Thames river. Musical part is an 8-song hardcore mixed with some pieces of crust (And if we know that crust is high-speed and funny thing, these guys have destroyed all the fun parts of it) and something dark like doom metal. Female vocal was a beautiful surprise for me, this girl screams generously and with some ignition, I loved it very much. Everything else here is quite common. In general Dysteria tries not to come out of frames of the genre and atmosphere of the album, but sometimes they sound boring, this is maybe the only disadvantage of this album.

Oblivionized / Human Cull (Wooaaargh)

It's time to drink few pints of good beer in local pub. Or you can drink some tea with milk it depends on your tastes. Because this split is a good example of madness of English people. And that's why you should tune in to the right atmosphere before listening tu this vinyl.
Psychos from Oblivionized have 2 tracks on side A. Tight hardcore, with some metal riffs... especially it's audible on guitar accents. We must not forget also for sludge moments which guys add in their crazy music. And I noticed few really small pieces of grindcore, it is good in particular on blasting drum parts. The only thing I did not like are those modern beat-down parts, but on the other hand guys mix so much different stuff so they seem quite logical here. Bristol city is represented by Human Cull. In their work, guys combine fast and ugly grindcore with powerviolence, and of course they don't forget to add some typical english madness in this crazy mix. Very assertive pitch, great sound, I can say that this sound is 99% perfect for this style. You can hear all instruments and there is no sound mess. The sound is sharp like a bayonet on a british soldier's gun. Also I noticed there is a good punk share, which perfectly fits in their songs. I almost forgot to say about art and design on this split. All this stuff was made by some pretty famous guys. A squad on top was drawn by Luis Sendón (Nashgul), and inside picture (that gas mask with chaos star) was made by Arif Rot (Wormrot).
