Corpse Eater - Mutants In The Nuclear Afterworld

Today I am going back to the theme of one man projects. Personally for me it's a pretty hard topic because it's unbelievably difficult to create something really memorable, something interesting with only 1 mind at the helm. We all know a lot of bad examples, but also we know a few great one man bands. Well today I want to talk about German band Corpseeater. That project has a few releases and is not very well known at all. But, the guy managed to create something interesting and nasty and that's why I'm writing these words. Yes you can say that this is super primitive name, and maybe you are right. But, the name is nothing in comparison to the main point, the music (at least for me). Also this small release has a good slimy green cover art. There is a lot of funny corpses and other monsters, the main character looks like a strange mutilated Conan, hahaha! Here is an interesting fact, the whole EP is no longer than a few minutes. But, these 12 songs are really good. I find a lot of good heavy riffs and lovely primitive tempos. The guitar sounds pretty violent, this buzzing wildness has a drop of old spirit and I like it. This guy uses a drum machine for his noises, but these digital blastbeats do not sound annoying, they fit perfectly for this kind of Grind. And of course there is pitch shifted vocals and good growls(and they add to these songs a good gore tone). “Mutants in the Nuclear Afterworld” reminds me of bands such as Savage Man,Savage Beast and CUM. So if you're in love with such old noise, you should definitely check this band out! Rating: 7.5/10 Corpse Eater bc!

Decomposing Serenity / Proctalgia

Noisy, evil, bubbling split of two one-man-bands, American dead dolls lover Decomposing Serenity and big fan of huge asses Proctalgia (Philippines)...
It seems to me that moving to America had a small influence on the art of Witter Cheng. His noise became more cacophonous, the material steered a little bit away from the gore madness which was familiar to the listener... Now there's more metal influence...But, I can't say I liked this. Motly guitar solos in the background are kinda funny. There is, a huge variety of vocals... pitch-shifted growls, some times croaking and funny, like gremlin squeals... About the sound, I can't say it differs with its solidity and juiciness, it reminded me of how bands sounded in the 90's.
Don't know why, but I haven't enjoyed the Proctalgia side of the split. It ended be kind of flat (both the cover and the music itself). The advantages are evil vocals and interesting guitar sound...and probably cute samples from old horror movies but the material is too monotonous. Of course everything is not so bad, some good pieces streak... But, very few. Decomposing Serenity: 7.5/10 Proctalgia: 6/10

Burning Cyborg - Entering Digital Infinity

Fuck! I didn't come across for a long time with such a strange noise!) I`m not a big fan of cybergrind stuff but Burning Cyborg hook me up with it`s madness. After I digged some information on the web I can directly say it is the only release of this band, and it is a pity... because songs on this EP just mince your brains into salad!)

Just have a look at this acid cover, look at those variegated colors... the same will be projected into your brain while listening to this vinyl! It's a hellish and dangerous mix of grindcore, cyborg music and harsh noise. Special irrationality for this chaos adds electronoise component... it really does sound violent!) It sounds pretty wild but interesting, I really didn't expect that. Rhythms are changing with a breakneck speed you just do not understand what is happening, ahaha! For me it was very interesting and surprising release and it`s a pity that this wax has not much of this noise...

Subhuman Prodigy Of Wickedness / Proctalgia (Uterus Productions)

2016 became a very fruitful year for german label Uterus Productions. This label released a whole bunch of nasty and sick stuff and today we will review the position №13 in their catalog. So it's split between dutch duo Subhuman Prodigy Of Wickedness and filipino one man band Proctalgia. Ok, SPOW goes first. I don't know why but their cyber noise don't disgust me. I even got some mood boost bit while listening to this nonsense. I doubt very much that the guys tried to play something serious. The guitar sounds like it was written in some Guitar Pro, but it sounds pretty fun, the same with electronic drums the aura of total crazy collapse is created by vocals (those sound of gurgle of water in the toilet is so stupidly funny). Hm even shitty pig voice does not spoil the whole sound picture… Hm Proctalgia sounds more confident and serious.Thick low guitar sound and the same low distorted vocals feels nice my ears. You can hear electronic drums too, but they do not break the impression. Sometimes among gore mess erupt good death metal riffs. I can not say that the material is super cool and exciting but if you like goregrind you should at least check this exotic project out once. Rating: 7/10 For all questions write to Uterus productions

Savage Man Savage Beast – The Stiffs Are Looking Lively (Rottenpyosis Records)

It's impossible to hear and know every band over our big globe (even if you spend all your life for this) so that`s why no wonder that I know nothing about Savage Man Savage Beast. But with Rottenpyosis Records' help many of you can discover that band. This discography contains (probably) all material recorded... as you can see here is 4 demo tapes, songs from split with Blue Holocaust / Microphallus and even unreleased stuff! I don't know who digitized those tapes and how, also don't know who cleaned the sound, but fuck me... the final result is so nice. :) Individual respect for the work with the sound! And let's talk about good things more... look at design of this release. It really feels like that artist fully imbued with the old school, with spirit of old grind death music and and embodied these abominations in his paintings, hahaha)

Savage Man Savage Beast left a good legacy (64 tracks). I'm more than confident that fans of old cybergrind will be really happy. In the millstones of this grinder are fray electronic drums, distorted (like in goregrind) vocals, sharp guitars and also a good piece of old death metal. Honestly, nowadays almost no one can play such music, everything in that genre (or near that) today is frankly fake... but that energy and roaring SMSB has really touched my soul. So if you are interested in old school noises then I strongly recommend you to get acquainted with this CD.
