Hmmm... It's quite a rare thing to see such a release. And the strange thing is not about the bands but the format...3 inch compact disk, small but pretty beautiful thing (maybe you can consider it as an alternative to cassettes). Two bands have placed music on this small piece of plastic... They are Psychopathic from warm and rainy Indonesia and old fua gra lovers Pulmonary Fibrosis from France.
Indonesians dropped just 3 songs on this split and that dissapointed me a little bit. But, listening to them I was happy. The guys play very raw grindcore with big metal influences (the second track shows it very well). The recording is very raw but, from the other side it is an advantage of this release. You can hear that musicians make some mistakes while playing, the drummer fails a bit but as for me this is funny and sincere.
From the first seconds french guys surprised me...I even thought "I'm listening to LDOH!" Because from the beginning they throw a solid big mass consisting of blasting Goregrind right in your fucking face! The next tracks are more familiar with Pulmonary Fibrosis. From time to time we hear groove but there isn't much of it, but a lot of blasts here. These 5 songs are just impregnated with rotting corpse liquids and traditional low and solid sound. This goregrind is heavy enough to crush your bones!
Psychopathic - 6/10 Pulmonary Fibrosis - 8/10

Gruesome Stuff Relish – Die Zombie Die (Rottenpyosis Records)
So today we'll talk about one of the most prominent representatives of the Spanish grind scene. Let this just compilation but it’s very comfortable and well-judged with this release about of all past ways of the band. The Die Zombie Die contains many great songs and with this fantastic cover this CD is perceived as a very cool one. The designer tried much to work with the remake poster for old film Zombie Creeping Flesh… these old characters look very sumptuously in these new colors.
On this compact disc you can find 23 creepy songs about various adventures of the living dead. Honestly when I listen to GSR my brain just projecting images and excerpts from old zombie films... it’s because this compilation really looks like audio version of zombie movie, hahaha!) I really can’t imagine, how guys can create and maintain an atmosphere throughout the album (in this situation with compilation)... especially this atmosphere of old gloomy cemetery is perfectly felt on the slow rhythms. GSR is easily recognizable thanks to its simple and not complicated rhythms, the guitar emphasis and nice solos. And of course you can not just forget about nasty yucky vocals, this cry of the old rotten zombies can hardly be confused with anything else, hehe))

Fetus Slicer – Metamorphoses Of Sickness (Rottenpyosis Records)
Have ever heard about gore bands from Taiwan? So, me either... Fetus Slicer became for me a good, lovely and tasty discovery. According to the internet it’s a one man project and it is based in Taipei town. Hmm, those guys make a big emphasis on the pathological and the medical theme. All the decoration just simply crowded with old anatomical drawings and engravings (it’s really reminding me Carcass works). Metamorphoses of Sickness it’s the first serious release from that Taiwan guys, because before album was only obscure demos. Also I must admit that for composing music process these guys come with a big responsibility, for Metamorphoses of Sickness - it recorded 11 songs. Definitely a strong point of this album is the guitar sound and good quality of the noise material. Here you will definitely hear a big influence of old gore and death metal bands especially from legendary Carcass (Damn, I more then confident that in a time of a high school/university he just did not take off his shirt with their logo, haha). A lot of death metal riffs and tempos are very suitable here, sharp guitar solos, low bass sound and detestable vocals... all of those sounds in old way. And of course here are a lot of some dialogs parts from old horror movies... damn, listening to this album makes me to remember my school years, remember how listening same kind of music on tapes was!)) And for the end I left my analysis of weak sides of this CD. After I carefully listen to this album, I almost did not find something to complain about, the only thing that I sometimes hurt my ears by the drum-machine and at the end of the album a gloomy atmosphere of morgue are lost a little bit. I guess if Dr. Varg Huang will take more musicians (especially he need real drummer) than Fetus Slicer will sound even cooler.

Savage Man Savage Beast – The Stiffs Are Looking Lively (Rottenpyosis Records)
It's impossible to hear and know every band over our big globe (even if you spend all your life for this) so that`s why no wonder that I know nothing about Savage Man Savage Beast. But with Rottenpyosis Records' help many of you can discover that band. This discography contains (probably) all material recorded... as you can see here is 4 demo tapes, songs from split with Blue Holocaust / Microphallus and even unreleased stuff! I don't know who digitized those tapes and how, also don't know who cleaned the sound, but fuck me... the final result is so nice. :) Individual respect for the work with the sound! And let's talk about good things more... look at design of this release. It really feels like that artist fully imbued with the old school, with spirit of old grind death music and and embodied these abominations in his paintings, hahaha)
Savage Man Savage Beast left a good legacy (64 tracks). I'm more than confident that fans of old cybergrind will be really happy. In the millstones of this grinder are fray electronic drums, distorted (like in goregrind) vocals, sharp guitars and also a good piece of old death metal. Honestly, nowadays almost no one can play such music, everything in that genre (or near that) today is frankly fake... but that energy and roaring SMSB has really touched my soul. So if you are interested in old school noises then I strongly recommend you to get acquainted with this CD.
