Shitgrinder - Eternal Death

Shitgrinder is the most diabolical and fucked in the head band you will hear today! What you’ll hear when you press play is pure unhinged sonic punishment that will become an audio drug that will leave you in a state of disarray. Eternal Death is freaking smashing; with no doubt this is one of the fastest albums from to ever come out of Australia.

After the scratchy intro, heavy riffs start and keep the songs rolling towards the end. This is what I call jaw dropping Grind. The blast beats are alive and fresh, without any digital trigger bullshit. Guitar tone is heavy and its sound isn`t dry at all, which is very important for fast music. This crazy duo used two kinds of vocals, the main ones being caveman growling and second is screaming, and this combination is very effective. Song by song “Eternal Death” strikes painful blows into my mind and ears, I absolutely love it! Maybe someone will find this album monotonous because most of the songs are made with the same structure, but fuck it, this is a Grindcore album. It sounds how it should sound. Like a real grind album.

If you used to be a fan of fast Grindcore, and you were disappointed by the last few albums from Phobia, give this wild piece of Noise a chance, I think your neck will start to ache after the first three songs.

Shitgrinder / Coffin Birth (Televised Suicide Records)

Australian label Televised Suicide rec. is very serious about getting their own grind-market segment of old school rotten undeground. Their most fresh product came to my hands recently, so I can't ignore it and I have listened to it very carefully. The result is below. This split came up to be a pure australian, both bands live at the land of kangaroo, the label is from there too. This split is decorated in a conservative, classical way, as for grindcore. They used the photographies from the most terrible period of vietnamese history. The vinyl itself has an innocent white color and it is pressed with high quality standarts, it is massive and solid, which affects the sound in a positive way.
Hm, sides aren't marked so let's begin with Coffin Birth. I have written about these dudes more than once and I really love what they do. The guys haven't lost their past power and agression on the new material. If you are acquainted with the previous Coffin Birth works then this one won't dissapoint you. And for those who aren't into it and hears about them for the first time, I'll say the following: tight sound, cutting low guitar, agressive pressure, loud and disgusting vocals and, of course, blastbeats - this is what fills these 7 songs.
I have heard Shitgrinder already, before this split they only had one demo, which is a really great one, by the way. I can't say that the guys have gone further about their play or their speed, everything is the same (and that's not a bad point, because the guys have put high standards from the very beginning). This noise really bites, hehehe) The guys shred it very fast, the stream of energy just flows out of the speakers with solid punch! And this is just a two-piece band my friends... So much evil and agression from only two men, it is really cool. About the music, everything is on its places, hell growls of a vocalist, blastbeats, simple but cool riffs. But their main feature is that guys flavour their songs with the spirit of old stinky punk, which is really good.
