Skruta​\​Internal Damage (Trismus Records)

For this split, guys from Skruta provided 4 raw songs. If you are a big fan of Nasum or Gadget, then it is unlikely that you would like this sound. But for me, it sounds pretty good. The only thing I do not like here is a guitar sound (It lacks meatiness and volume). All songs are cheerful with a good serve and enjoyable blast beat. Hmm... I guess, from all this material, the song “Three fingers up your ass” is amongst the best, it's kind of protest against the activities of the local national party / organization. 

So, hello to St. Petersburg! Wow, there might be only 3 songs there but it`s one of the greatest works of Internal Damage that I have heard from them. Guys recorded very strong and high quality old school deathgrind... as expected, it sounds monolithical with a metal sharpness. The guitar buzzing is very dense, but powerful vocals easily interrupt it (this guy manner of singing reminded me of the screams of the famous Barney Greenway). And since these guys rarely record something, it`s like a big present for their fans!

Internal Damage – Age Of Violence (EveryDayHate)

Internal Damage is a band from St. Petersburg was formed in 2007.These guys set for ourselves three objectives: grindcore, old school, and grindcore once again!In the first years lives of Internal Damage guys have already managed to make an album and a split with the legendary Japanese Unholy Grave.But in this review we will look at their second album Age Of Violence. 
Indeed we can say that the cover of the CD forms a clear idea of what you will hear, inserting the disc into your player.Unchanging artist under the name Jon, keeps guys a support for his work.This time he managed to convey the violence as it is and its source very cleary. 

There is one thing that I was very surprised, it's an intro to the album.The title track of Age Of Violence was given completely at the mercy of the drummer, this song have the sick interpretation of the surrounding violence, it has turned unusually.Splendiferous batch of metallized grindcore overwhelm you from the second track and will not weaken its onslaught right up to the very end!All the best that was in the old school grindcore is here.The texts with unpleasant but urgent problems of humanity, an excellent and powerful vocals, guitars sounding like out of the depths the hell, and this good old blastbit. 

Perhaps these Russian guys sounds now in very old way and even accepted as well, especially among the current wave of grindcore, with absolutely insane and experimental material and licked sound.But be sure that the fans of the earlier Napalm Death, Terrorizer, Ass Ache will be very happy. 

P.S. It is quite strange and unfair that such a great band goes unnoticed ...

Internal Damage & Fitcage (No Bread rec, Total Punk Records, Extreme Torture Store‎)

Sup, people! What do you know about Russian grind scene? I guess not much, unless you're some grindcore freak that looks into every nook and cranny. Well, here it is - the release of two solid Russian grindcore bands! I am happy to tell you about this split!
One of the bands is a Saint-Petersburg's band Internal Damage. The other band is Fitcage from Kazan. These two bands perform old school grindcore that you know very well, you know, that metal-inspired grindcore from the 90's, hehe!
The songs are all about different distresses of humanity. Especially I should note a constant theme of total control. Artwork for ID side was made by everlong artist John (I highly recommend to look for more of his artworks). Fitcage's artwork was made by someone named Buhamed (pretty interesting artist, I'm glad that I found him).
Musically these bands are pretty similar, but I think Fitcage has more punk in their music (at least I think so). It really feels like these bands had the same happy grindcore childhood, hehe) Overall fury of their songs will crush your head. I almost forgot, this release has 9 tracks, which will surely be loved by both Michael Jackson's fans and headbangers! People who love Napalm Death, Brutal Truth, Terrorizer and good old school death metal, you should listen to this release!

Hey! All's fine as usual. The time has passed when we was mom-obeying guys, but also we was badass bastards betweenwhiles I guess though, so now we have quite obedient moms, hah. Actualy thanx them for their endless support. As about northern wind, we're all from south, so we would not mind if St. Petersburg would be not the northern but southern capital.

If I am not mistaken, your EP, that will come out soon, was waiting for it's release about a year. What's with the delay, wasn't there any label that would release this yummy?

You mean 'Terror for control' EP? I don't remember correctly but I guess it's more then a year of waiting already. And it's sad, couse we believe that the records must be unleashed as fast as it possible while it's hot! After the record work done, we decided to ask Andy from EDH, don't know why we didn't try to look for another labels, either due to busy with music as in Internal Damage so in other projects or just too lazy to find them.
