Doom (30.05.15)
Stick; got back of a mini tour of Europe, which was a blast. I enjoy the "old school" jump in a van & go tours to all the shit with airports
Corrupt Fucking System was released couple years ago and it's a great album to show everybody that good ol' bands are still in the game! As far as I know you recorded, produced it and even released it all by yourself... It's pretty hard to find this kind of 100 % DIY these days :) Was it hard to do everything by yourself? Also we would like to know if Doom plans something new for us?
It was the end of a long process. We always wanted to have total control of our music, or as much as is possible. We have never been 100% happy working with other labels in the past, so we got the money together, we are in the lucky position that people are aware we are active. We have access to a studio & Bri can do the recording. It all made sense to do it ourselves. It has been hard work packaging them up & dealing with distro/ people but it has a certain satisfaction to it.
We are putting the final touches to a 5 track ep. It will be called "consumed to death" The download of it will be out first & all the money from the download will go to the victims families of the Chile gig/disaster. (so don't upload/download for free please as the money is for a benefit) There will be a vinyl version later on...
