Spastic Amoebas "Amoebicide" CD is out now!
Thirteen brand new tracks of spastic fucking freak out rock n' roll. Transmissions from behind the wall of madness. Absolute delirium and cosmic slaughter akin to a fully-conscious autopsy conducted by two intergalactic death wizards and a sexually-omniscient mountain gorilla. Open-skull surgery that will implant the final disease and deliver the ultimate cure! From some of the same rock n' roll super-geniuses that brought you Sockeye, Rupture and Erectile Dementia with artwork by Bryan Brady. You can listen the whole album HERE!

Rabid Dogs - Italian Mysteries (Eclectic Productions)
Okay boys and girls, do you like detective movies? Yes? Lovely! Then you will like this album! It has been passed 5 years since their last CD “The Octopus” and now our Italian friends are back with a new album! I can honestly say that this recording is a logical evolution of this strange band. These guys managed to surprise me, haha! These songs and sound are so unusual for a Grind band. You wont hear classical grindcore here, you won't find super, evil, nuclear blast beats or distorted vocals… BUT this album is very interesting in its own way. Everything here is soaked with the spirit of old Italian movies, starting with the cover. The artist drew so many different characters in this picture… shit… and all together they form a skull. Hm, I must admit, that is an interesting and pretty fresh idea, for a grind release, of course. (Part 1 - the visual side).
(Part 2 - noise). As I said before our friends have found a new way. Their music has changed a bit and now I can tell that they are “real rockers”, haha! Italian Mysteries is full of fuzz and good groovy energy. The guys didn't change the Grind base but, now they`ve added more rock'n'roll and stoner riffs! Also the whole sound has changed, now it sounds more clear (theh managed to jump to the next level and that is lovely!). The guitar sound changed into some kind of buzzing creature with lots of fun riffs. Also, I can't avoid mentioning his here they mix things up a ton with instruments like harmonica and piano (there were a few moments in the songs where these instruments created a damn good atmosphere). So if you`re open for some music experimentation, you would love this album. Oh almost forgot the “Italian Mysteries” could be a great choice for your beach party!

GAF - Gore`n`Feast (Splatter Zombie records)
The new album ... I have been waiting for new stuff from this Finnish
team for a long time. A couple of tracks that we've already seen on the
internet a year ago made me believe that the new album will be something
new and unusual for GAF.
All those years boys were delivering furious goregrind with a bit of hardcore, there is almost nothing of that left now. Gore `n` Feast has become a very controversial album... there were many unhappy people, there were many good reviews. In this mini-album Finns reminded me of the Australian Blood Duster.
On the album, there is a part of an old bulldozer-ish sound... of course not as much as on the previous albums but still it is here and it lets you figure out that it is the good old GAF. The songs are full of hardcore and rock'n'roll. The album seemed to me a bit boring sometimes but there are some great songs. The track called «Flammable» is a nice piece of dark crust, «Ace of Speed» is just a pure Motorhead (in a perverted version of course, hehehe), «Choice of Slaughter» hooked me with its groove.
In general, this sound mutation reminded me of Malignant Tumor in some sense (if anyone forgot that the Czech drinkers had their own path from goregrind to crust-grind-n-roll).

Rabid Dogs – The Octopus (Eclectic Productions)
This
italian bunch have always amused me. They‘re music is quite unordinary. Safe to
say, their signature sound is based on the scent of vintage Italian crime films
in the atmosphere of their music. Yet their latest release bares a strong sense
of concept and is dedicated to a good old film series (which came to my
attention when I was a young kid). The motive of this film echoes not only in
the sound itself, but in the artwork design. And it looks pretty cool as well.
It‘s been too long since I‘ve gotten such a treat from the esthetics of a mere
digipack. By the way, the disk itself has pit-art emblemed on the readable part
of the CD. This makes the visual part of the album even more impactful. What
needs to be mentioned is that it‘s hardly a mini-album. There are only five
tracks on this release (plus a bonus track which is not mentioned in the track
list, making it a very pleasant surprise), yet the quality of it barely makes
it an issue. This EP in no way resembles straight-foward grind. This time the
guys did not hesitate to go full experimental. Grind meets rock ‘n roll. It was suprising to hear a synth in the
last two tracks. A synth and something distant of stoner/doom rock elements.
But they still pull off the synth element in a pleasant manner. Even if this release
goes full experimental and may sound somewhat weird, it still sounds really
soild. I would recommend this one to anyone who is looking for a breath of
fresh air in the scene.
P.S. to clarify, the dialogues between songs are from the mentioned TV series.

Penis Vibrator - Let's Go (Nuclear Alcoholocaust Rec)
Penis Vibrator, a VIA from Malasya brings to this sick sad world some real careless fun especially when there is some ugly stuff going on outside like wars, terrorism, goddamned politicians, you have to make up your mind. For this purpose I would play this cassette with some real weird content inside. Their debut tape entitled "Let's Go" and designed in completely DIY manner with some rock'n'roll decoration on the cover art. Unprepared listener may think that's your ordinary pornogrind band, but this is not even close. These guys doing pure noise and roll! Imagine Merzbow in Elvis's outfit driving a caddilac in some sunny country and have an idea what's inside. Old movie samples, ads, ancient 50s music mixed with rock'n'roll, oh! Guys, you check this one right now, this wall of noise can change your mood. If you are into Noise a Go Go's, give it a listen right now! This crazed madness leaves you a pleasant aftertaste and total noise satisfaction. Sixty copies are too little because, but every type of a grind freak can enjoy a copy.
