Cannibalism is brand new name in the rows of canadian noise-combat units. This is a project of one jollier who is quite a famous person, Joe Warkentin (Archagathus, Violent Gorge, ex-Parfumerie, Meatus). I suppose this material was written for Violent Gorge, but due to the end of that band's existence he used it for the new project. So, what do we have here? Damn, that's quite impressing...we got 53 tracks here! As for debut release it's truly enormous bunch of shit, he-he. All that material was written in the cellar in the end of previous autumn. It seems to me that raw atmosphere of the cellar is well imaged in the sound. It's raw and noisy grindcore/mincecore, but here all this filth makes the recording very interesting. Cannibalism reminds me of Archagathus and Violent Gorge distantly. We could hear those insane vocals and similar guitar sound. All songs here are short and you just don't notice how this cassette ends. Ok, the start is given, let's see what kind of noise will Joe make in the future. :)
Separately I want to say some words about the design of this release. History Of Extinction is full of painful (for normal people) photos which show different dumps and marks of humans' vital activity. All this scenes are very sad to look at, honestly I can't realise how people could shit that way at the place of their living...
