Paralyzed Society – Life Is Life (demo)

Once upon a time, Martin and Liber from Matka Teresa were sitting in the bar with Roel Nydoom (Anal Penetration) and drinking some beer. And while talking about life and stuff, they thought: let’s make our own band! And fortunately, they got down to business and started rehearsing. First result of their efforts is a demo tape Life Is Life, and I’m about to look more closely at this tape.
The artcover depicts one unlucky guy in straight jacket, I guess they tried to express the insanity of our environment and world itself. The booklet is pretty much standart – track list, photo of the band and some information. But on the other hand, this is not just DIY tape but pro-done (4 labels cooperated in making them) and released 200 copies.
This demo contains 10 raw and fast songs, and the cool thing is there’s no cover tracks, just their own songs, so we can say they did a great job on this.
Lack of melodic guitar riffs only adds up to the songs of Parayzed Society! Rough and simple guitars – that’s what we like in old school grindcore! Martin’s vocals is like a screaming of a schizo and really stand out from the wall of noise. D-beat transiting to blastbeats sounds like a huge crowd of protestants breaking through fence to a local official, hehe! Mix it all up, and there you have it – fulminating Molotov that surely make even the biggest grindcore hater to change it’s mind!)
