Carnal Trash / Corpse Eater

This gore split was done in a totally DIY way - Two old freaks from different corners of the globe recorded their songs and put them together. The result is predictable; this noise is truly disgusting. The noise is loud and annoying (especially for my neighbors), but I will return to this a bit later. I want to stop at the design and art. Both sides have great creepy artwork, as the artists really conveyed the atmosphere of iconic horror movies (which is badass). As for the design, everything was printed with a home printer, but it looks nice. It's an interesting and creative decision put CDr in 7” format, I must say it looks much better than the usual format. The first band on the line is Carnal Trash from Argentina. I was faced with 9 tracks of nasty gore which are made in an old school way. The turbo distorted vocals are freaking loud and it cluttered the guitar and drums, but everything still sounds cool. The combination of simple riffs and shorts songs are nice, this material isn't boring and that is good. I caught a lot influences from old and iconic gore bands from the mid 90's (I can't say that surprised me). Corpse Eater is from Germany; the noise from this band is really moldy it has tje taste of old grind and death metal. Don't blame me guys, but I really like the sound of the cheap drum machine and the primitive song structures. The guitar tone is far from modern sound, but that is the point of this band. Raw sound is great too, I also found a lot of influence from old school punl and few tight moments ala Impetigo. Of course this band don't sound as massive like Carnal Trash does, but it sounds original (at least for 2018). Rating: 7.5 / 10 Corpse Eater fb Carnal Trash fb

Endotoxaemia / Carnal Trash (Garbage Bondage Records)

Gore is the law! Today we will follow this nasty rule. Today`s victim is a smelly tape release with two good and interesting bands. Here is some info for you boys and girls... Both bands consist of only one human, so keep in mind all this noise came from only one dirty mind. Endotoxaemia is a creation of Vitaly Struchkov (Bryansk/Russia) and Carnal Trash is the ugly child of Christian Badia (Argentina). Both sides have 11 minutes of really filthy Goregrind. Now let's open this rotten boil and let the pus free!

So, first we have Endotoxaemia. The opening song, “Ripping Your Face in Half” is filled with regurgitated sludgy muck, slow disgusting and heavy, amazing song! The whole sound is soaked with down-tuned guitar riffs, loud ear-splitting trashcan blast beats, and gargling, inhuman vocals. Oh yes, I caught some good remains of old good punk, that is a good spice for this Gore dish. After listening to this material, I didn’t feel like Endotoxaemia was just playing the same song one after another. While it’s hard to discern differences when a majority of the songs are just blast beats and low vomiting vocals, there are subtle nuances that stick out.

Carnal Trash differs from Endotoxaemia with a messy Last Days Of Humanity oriented style. Old songs are under one minute and they are raw, moldy and fast. Loud, regurgitated sound of pitch shifted vocals take a leading place in all songs, unfortunately the tasty sound of snare is hidden behind the roars, and that a bit sad. Also I can't say that this noise is memorable, it's good, but all songs are very similar to each other… Anyway these 7 songs are still a nice portion of Gore.

En Negacion – s/t (Knochentapes)

Argentina is still an unknown country for me, I'm still not familiar with their scene (shame on me). But it seems that German Knochentapes know that, so they put this tape in the promo package. En Negacion is a bass violence band, they are based in beautiful Buenos Aires. Except the bass and drum players these amigos have 2 free singers (pretty insane huh?). They have been active around 3 or 4 years and in that time they've recorded and released a lot of stuff. Today I`ll be listening their self titled work…

First of all I want to say that I really love the way this bass guitar sounds. It sound pretty clear, I mean there is not any distorted mess… It's heavy and has some punk spirit. Vocals and drums are good too… But the whole material is not catchy, it's not brilliant but from other side I can’t say that these 4 minutes are bad. This music has all the poverviolence/hardcore standards. It sounds good but, there is nothing new and this work doesn’t stand out from the army of other new pv bands. The last song is a cover song of legendary Crossed Out. And I must admit, this sounds very tight.

Prisoner 639 / StevexJobs

The first thing that caught my attention in this release is a photo on the cover. Hell, I've seen a lot of things but such action I see for the first time. I do not know what kind of sick mind could come up with to harness the hippo in the wagon. Ahah, weird stuff))) On this split you will find a confluence of two strange powerful violence bands from Belgium and Argentina. Perhaps I'll start from the Prisoner 639. With using only bass and drums the music of these guys that sounds very hard and noisy. Their powerful violence quite primitive and very aggressive, some kind of cavemen music spiced with different noises. In their songs it feels great the low gutter bass that makes an excellent shake to the brain. Usually, it is a typical for such genre tempo changing, as well as a bit chaotic madness. There are some songs of normal length and very short one that more closely resemble to noise-core. In general, it is a very pleasant noisy-powerful violence.

If I'm not mistaken, StevexJobs - it is the first Argentine band that I got for reviews. In contrast to Belgians, these guys use a guitar although it really sounds quite dry...but it is full of mindless and enjoyable experiments such as some punk rock and hard rock moments (as in the song Rol), ahah) All tracks sounds cheerful and a little bit unusual and it is very amusing.
