Prisoner 639 / StevexJobs

The first thing that caught my attention in this release is a photo on the cover. Hell, I've seen a lot of things but such action I see for the first time. I do not know what kind of sick mind could come up with to harness the hippo in the wagon. Ahah, weird stuff))) On this split you will find a confluence of two strange powerful violence bands from Belgium and Argentina. Perhaps I'll start from the Prisoner 639. With using only bass and drums the music of these guys that sounds very hard and noisy. Their powerful violence quite primitive and very aggressive, some kind of cavemen music spiced with different noises. In their songs it feels great the low gutter bass that makes an excellent shake to the brain. Usually, it is a typical for such genre tempo changing, as well as a bit chaotic madness. There are some songs of normal length and very short one that more closely resemble to noise-core. In general, it is a very pleasant noisy-powerful violence.

If I'm not mistaken, StevexJobs - it is the first Argentine band that I got for reviews. In contrast to Belgians, these guys use a guitar although it really sounds quite dry...but it is full of mindless and enjoyable experiments such as some punk rock and hard rock moments (as in the song Rol), ahah) All tracks sounds cheerful and a little bit unusual and it is very amusing.
