Sete Star Sept / Gamera Tempura ( Nuclear Alcoholocaust)

No offense intended towards SSS and their fans, but I was more looking forward to hearing the mysterious Gamera Tempura on this split. There is no info on these guys, I haven't found anything at all, no contacts, no recording date. After listening to this diy tape, I can say the following things. Both bands play off hand, but their choice of instruments is slightly different. Sete Star Sept as always make noise with the help of bass and drums, but Gamera Tempura are using guitars instead of the bass. I couldn’t hear much difference between these two bands, except that the GT filling was a little bit faster and more painful. The Japanesse stayed true to themselves. This cassette is full of blast beats, noise and screams. If you are tired of Elton John songs, bored by Slayers' "Raining Blood" , and you want to hear something dirty and noisy, feel free to stick the cassette into your tape recorder!

Cute little Gamera (relative of Godzilla, if you don’t know) is not the only peculiar thing about the artwork on the cover; all crossed out notes on the cover are drawn by hand! (I wonder how much time the Chief of Nuclear Alcoholocaust Rec had to spend on it? :)

Sete Star Sept
