Repressione - Fuoco

Repressione is an antifa crustpunk band from sunny Italy. Fuoco tape is their second album. Hmmm... I guess anyone once in a while wishes for cops to burn in hell, so the author of cover art implemented this wish in his work, hahaha! It's quite funny and also song topics correspond to arts: protest, different social problems so everything is matching in general image very well Well I want to say something about sound first... it`s not too juicy but the material itself is played with love, which smooths out all the flaws. As it should be in such music all songs are filled with cheerful energy, sometimes naughty and good, sometimes somber drive. I liked this combination of classic components here. These buzzing guitars (there is even few melodic riffs, which is very good) perfectly blend in with the wild screams of vocalist and crisp bass sound complements the drum parts. Nothing else, no experiments. If you are looking for this kind of music, the album Fuoco is just for you!
