Flare Up & Seitan d'Malheur (Nuclear Alcoholocaust rec)

Let this review be dedicated to international friendship. We will be talk about the split between indonesian Flare Up and french guys from Seitan d'Malheur. Both band plays extreme hardcore with some of powerviolense/fastcore parts. Hmmm it`s very lovely blue tape with only 8 songs (each band deliver 4 songs)... Side A taken by Flare Up. This guys play some really aggressive music. Their temps are fast but I hear nothing too special here. Vocals are rough and aggressive. Social-oriented topics in lyrics. Everything is very decent though, but here is one thing that I dont like here. It`s guitar sound... on this record it sounds very dry and poor. And honestly it spoils impression of all record a bit. Side B. Wow this french bandits are good. So cheerful, the first song gives a good punch! Hehehe) I really like this bass guitar sound, it's running on first place (for example like in punk) And their last song... that alternative riffs, it sound really groovy. Hm, it came to end very soon though. Personally for me band number one on this split is Seitan d'Malheur!
