There're people who prefer to eat raw vegetables, there're people who prefer to eat raw meat. I am one of those who prefer to listen to raw live record from legendary Japanese demons Unholy Grave!
Fake World was recorded long ago in 2009 on a gig with German thrash metal band Holy Moses! Unfortunately, everything was recorded with just mics, not with the soundboard, and the sound here is pretty dirty (they even let us know about it on the cover). There are 9 pretty famous songs (but I was confused when I realized that there's no Confession, one of the most of their famous songs). Despite the sound, I was able to feel the energy that comes out from the band to the crowd, and it's very important, 'cause no matter how good the sound and whatever expensive tools you use on the record, if there's no fire, then it's a waste of time.
It's quite funny to hear Takaho's screaming through the wall of noise, by the way =)
Artwork is pretty much what you would expect from Unholy Grave, everything was made by Takaho-san. The only thing I don't understand is why is he re-using parts of the old artworks on this? Knowing Japanese people, they rarely have problems with creativity. But, it's not that important and surely it doesn't ruin the whole impression.
Overall, it's quite good collectable release. I wonder how many records Unholy Grave released so far...
