Ras was formed as a Crust oriented 4 piece some like 17 years ago, we started playing alive pretty soon, in 3 months we were ready to spread the loud over everywhere and that's what we did playing with bands like Denak, OBNI, Coche Bomba, and many others around all kind of places (mainly squats) specially over the Basque Country but playing also some shows in the rest of the spanish state. With this line up we recorded and split tape (orgy anyone?) with our friends of Denak and some songs for compilations. After some years the drummer and singer quited the band and we ask Garrulo Cadaver (from the now defunt grinders Perros Deshidratados) to join the band as drummer (he used to play bass in their other bands) he accepted and we continue as a 3 piece taking all of us care of vocals. With this line up we follow playing shows (but not so often) and tour Europe 3 times including show at the Obscene Extreme festival and the Play Fast Or Don't between many others. We also recorded some tracks for the An Old Fashioned GrindCore Assault Compilation Cd, an split 102/CD/Tape with Disturbance Project, and split 7" with Alea Iacta Est and another split 7" with Machetazo. Now we are working on the split 12"/CD/Tape with Kamorrah and an split 7" with the Noise Punk local legends Tortura Sistematica.
