What were all of you doing while the break in ET’s activity?
Everyone was doing their own thing. Martin with Stapled Shut, Jerry Bloody Phoenix, Raul alternative rock, and Myself was doing Endless Demise.
Excruciating Terror is already known to grindcore fans and you’ve made quite a lot. Let’s recall something from your history, look back to the years of reckless youth)) How did ET start? What was the thing that made you create a band?
Martin and Raul started the band with Martin's brother. His brother left to join Nausea (L.A) in 1990, that's when I joined the band. Jerry Flores joined the band months after.
We all were into the same kind of music and went to junior high together that's how we met.
We just released a cd split tape with Your Enemy. 2 split 7" out soon with Soil of Ignorance and Your Enemy. 10" split with Suffering Mind Hopefully out by the end of the year.
You’re a family guy. Does your wife supports ET? Or does she complains that you have to pay attention to the band a lot?
My wife supports me 100% in both bands. I'm a lucky guy.
You’ve planned a lot of surprises for the fans this year, including few splits and re-release of your first album. Could you tell us about it?
First album we reissued it on cd with 4 live tracks from a recording "The Hour of The Goat" radio show back in 1994 through BlastaFuk records. Plus two 7" splits with Internal Rot and Suffering Mind.
What persons inspired you during your life? How did you come up with an idea of becoming a musician?
Otis redding. Enough said.
Jasper Swerts is a very notable guy in underground, a lot of bands book drawings from him. How did the work go with him? Who was the author of a new art’s for the band? Are you satisfied with his job, is this will be only on merchandize or on coming-soon-splits too?
Jasper incredible Artist. I told him exactly what I wanted and he nailed it! Just a design for a shirt.
Victor, what about other forms of art: books, paintings, movies?
I read lots of Ibsen and alot of Grisham.
I know that many countries in Europe fund musicians. Is there something like that in America? And what do you think about this kind of help?
Wow, there is no funding here for that. Must be great to have that kind of financial support.
A lot of bands has a constant supporters, people that never miss gigs of their favorite bands, monitoring the news. Does ET have that kind of support?)
Oh yeah we have die hard fans which gives us the Energy "the want" to keep doing this.
What do you think about veganism and sxe-guys?
To each their own.
