Nauseate / Camphora Monobromata / Archagathus
If I remember it right, this split should have been out at least two years ago, but due to some circumstance, this release was delayed. This CD unites 3 bands from the 3 biggest countries of our cursed planet. So welcome Nauseate - India, Camphora Monobromata - Russia, and Archagathus - Canada. As you may notice this is very Punk stuff. The cover is done in an old crusty style (black and white colors are the mainstay here, each band recorded their stuff on their own, this split oozes diy spirit what else can I say?
Nauseate is the lucky band to open this mad pit. Their Grind is raw and nasty, in just the right way. Which is cool, because their first release was too messy and awful. This music has many primitive Grind/Mince elements like a moderate tempo, simple and catchy structure, dirty guitar sound and goofy vocals. You won't find anything new in this material, but on the other hand these songs are not too bad. I must admit these guys have matured, they are growing as a band and that is good.
Second shot - Camphora Monobromata comes in with a nice rehearsal recording. They have prepared 6 muddy tracks for this CD (and yes, it is old stuff that was recorded 3 years ago). Generally this material is cool, but the sound is too poor and raw (in my opinion), even so I felt real aggression and power through this mud. Camphora Monobromata managed to create catchy hyper-degenerated punky rhythms that could cheer your sad ass up.
We have 7 Mincing tracks from the Canadian powerhouse to close out the split. Their anger comes forward straight away; the production is tight and the sound is good. Archagathus sticks to their usual formula, there are no surprises, just old and nasty riffs which will cut your head off, haha! This material is charged with a ferocious energy and it could bite. Buzzing guitar is here, the tone is right so it sounds really great. Drums are pleasantly raw and pitch shifted growling is loud. So what else do you need for a good party?
Rating: 7.5/10 Nauseate Camphora Monobromata Archagathus

Agathocles / Psychoneurosis
Do you remember Romeros movies? Do you remember how the dead came back to life? Sometimes it happens with old bands. Moldy Grind bastards Psychoneurosis are here again! This Polish squad is legendary, and it`s nice to see them alive. For the reunion split release they picked up Agathocles, well known noise terrorists from Belgium. All this noise was released under Selfmadegod records in CD format. I must say the result is very pleasant. 2 pieces of cover art (you can switch them to your own taste), band photos, lyrics and more. But in total we have here only 12 songs, that's not much but this split is really rad.
After a screaming intro, Agathocles starts their attack. That's what I call real Mincecore! I want to highlight the sound of this recording session. Also I noted 1 small lovely change in these songs. Jan used a pitch shifter! Just a bit, but it helps to refresh the songs, in my opinion. They sound heavier now. Guitar buzzing like a mad hive of bees, and the drums are raw and fast and the bass is crispy. This is one of my favorite AG release from this year.
Psychoneurosis do their best, the new material sounds heavy as fuck, haha! The sound has a slight Metal taste, also it`s massive and bulldozing. All the songs are dynamic and loud, so you won`t be bored. These guys used few different kinds of vocals, in my opinion that is good, because that makes the songs brighter. The guitar has rather Death Metal tone rather than Grind , but that's not bad at all. There is one thing that stands out in the swarming drumming. The cowbell sounds incredible here, it makes this Noise spicier.
In the end I can only say that I held in my hands a robust split with two epic dinosaur bands.

Uitschot / Agathocles
The stream of new splits from Agathocles doesn`t ever seem to run dry, and that is awesome. This time we have a split with Uitschot (old band of Koen AG). This piece has pretty nasty cover art… A vomiting person who`s feeding the birds. The perfect way describe both of these bands to those who've never heard about Mince and Grind, haha! Inside I found a nice insert that depicted old photos and lyrics, nothing special but it looks good.
Uitschot are no longer active punks, so thematerial that you will hear was recorded more than 10 years ago. So you can call it a blast from the past, hehe. To be honest i don`t like how this noise sounds. All the songs have a dull sound, but that's how it's supposed to sound, that old diy punk recording tone. Simple riffs, goofy structures, bad mastering and the fire of passion in the music. Most songs sound similar, I guess that's why it started to be boring at the middle of Uitschot's side. Noise and madness that's how I can describe this A side.
Mighty Agathocles is performing with 10 old punk-influenced dirty songs with lyrics about nihilism, toxic hell, society's bullshit and protest against the system. All the noise was recorded back in 2014 (so it`s not so fresh) but it sounds very alive. During the listening I realized that the vinyl version sounds more catchy (yes it’s dirty and lacks in frequencies but it doesn't like garbage) than the digital variant that I found on the Internet. Musically there is nothing new, Belgian veterans just playing their brand of Mincecore that is full of hate… So if you`re into this band you should definitely get this split in your collection because it worth of it!
Rating: Uitschot 7/10 Agathocles: 7.5/10

Agathocles / Cum Sock (Vleesklak Rec)
Who said noise? Who wants some? Join us, because today we will listen one short and dirty split and, let's be honest there's only 1 proper way to do so. Turn the volume up full blast. Yes, it`s Agathocles, if you haven't heard of them yet, then you must have been living in a monastery. This time the Belgian maniacs cooperated with the Canadian Noisecore psychos from Cum Sock.
1 spin and AG is vomiting from my speakers! These raw songs smashed me with a powerful flow. 12 short tracks with a recognizable style and messy buzzing sound, that's what you will find here. This material is definitely not the best stuff to come from AG. The songs feel old and sound a bit dry. But, I will admit, this noise did give me a good portion of enjoyment nonetheless.
Wow, Cum Sock's side of the split is ridiculously loud, haha! This material is what I call pure fun. There is a lot of cheesy structures/riffs, they clearly had fun during this recording. I find that is very important because if you don't enjoy your stuff, you will never record a good song, EP, or album. I even caught some influences from Anal Cunt in this “music”, haha. Of course there are dirty punk roots in Cum Sock's noise. Chaotic, stupid, loud, goofy. That's how I can describe this noise.

Abortion - All You Need Is Hate
When a band has been around for as long as Abortion has, there is not much to say that has not been said already. Slovakian grinders have had a very rich discography during their almost three decades of existence. "All You Need Is Hate" is their 7th full-length coming three years after Konvert and it's a good addition their discography. Cover art was made by Radek (Meat Spreader/Neuropathia), and I must say this angry psycho clown looks a bit weird (as for grindcore release) but interesting, it feels that this creature is real savage. The colors were chosen right too, combinations of black and yellow look tasty. This album has small tiny touch of the 90s, as the insert is made in old diy way. Xero copied A3 insert with photos, lyrics and everything else, maybe for someones it looks cheap, but personally I like it.
"All You Need Is Hate" is packed with raw emotion and a serious sense of urgency among lower classes of people to recognize their potential and take control of the state. Old guard is know how to mix classical grindcore with drop of mincecore. In contrast with previous album, "All You Need Is Hate" has more fire, it's not so boring like Konvert was, it has more fire but there is still some boring moments. All songs sounds similar to each other; almost all of them are mid speed, and that does not spice this album at all. Also, there is one more thing that I'm not happy about, it's the sound of the guitar. It's a bit dry on my taste. Of course there are alot of positive moments; for example I found hidden Sodom cover (go ahead and check Grand Hotel Alepo track). I'm grateful for this promo vinyl, because it sounds much better than the digital one. Of course I don't want to lie, these songs doesn't have hyperblasbeats, dissonant sound of guitar, or super sounds in general; this album is totally not for fans of new wave of grindcore. All in all, Abortion is just a bunch of old grind freaks, who love to make noises in their own way.

Agathocles - Commence To Mince (Selfmadegod rec)
Agathocles is pretty much an iconic band... they've been around forever. They are a very well known band, mostly because they are the inventors of mincecore, and they have massive discography. I believe they have more than 600 releases, it's a huge result for 30 years of existence. Today I will talk about their "Commence To Mince" album, this is the last full length at the moment (but maybe they are working on a new one while I'm writing this review, who knows?). The art for this album (I'm talking about CD version) has a very dumb design, haha! Ag just used their own photo, and, well, it's definitely not the best their cover. The booklet is huge and contains many photos from their Canadian journey and all of the lyrics, so all of the lyrics nerds can scream with Jan, haha!
Here is the negative thing that I noticed about Ag... with the years, these guys lost their energy and power. So many of the new records sounds pale, but in live action they are still very strong.
The CD version of this album sounds much better than the digital version from bandcamp, thanks gods, haha! I played it loud (it's necessary for mincecore), but it didn't catch my mind and soul. I felt a lack of power, perkiness and fire from the ass. Please understand me right, this recording session has a nice sound, good guitar tone, nice crusty noise from bass guitar and raw drums; but this is not enough. There were a few catchy moments, but that can't help revive "Commence To Mince". However, their cover of Desnutricao song "Orgulho Americano" is very invigorating and interesting - for me it`s the best track on this album.
