Agathocles / Degenerhate

Sometimes it's a pleasure to deal with bands that you know very well. You think that everything's simple here, like 2+2=4. But it isn't like that all the time, fortunately. :) Makings split with those belgian monsters has became a real cult. Some bands make it just for fun, when the others want to do a respect for the veterans. I have been thinking for a long time why they used an advertisement of antidepressants in the artwork. But when it came to playing the first track everything have gone to its places.
Shit, the thing which AG made is amazing! Ahahaha! It's filthy like an old alcoholic blues! What a thing. I was really surprised with the first two songs. But the third track is more similar to usual AG, raw and noisy..."bunka bunka blues" is falling out of general mood and sounds like it isn't on its place after all these drunk blues songs. By the way, the bottles in the recording are real, so everything here is true!)
Degenerhate made it all with a serious touch. Serious artworks, serious song lyrics. I remember that on their album guys have mixed old school grind with death metall which was very smart. And here they're trying to do the same. But as for me this recording is not as good, and I feel that guys started paying more attention to metal. It's a pity, but guitar sound is very dry. And the material at slow moments is a bit boring, I think the guys are trying to warm-up the listener... but with me all these jokes are useless))
