Unholy Grave & Morbidity (Twisted Truth)

February 11, 2015... brass monkey weather is a fucking nuisance, i am running out of beer… the Earth keeps marching straight to hell. Necessary evil, you know.
This year has rise in new kicking albums of contrastively different bands…
A modest russian label - Twisted Truth, has also taken a hand to the replenishment of noise underground. 70 limited, numbered by-hand, copies - this 8' splits hold Unholy Grave and Morbidity.
4 turbid and noisy tracks apiece. The cover art of Unholy Grave is habitually stylish, though this time they've made with japanese folk characters (just in case, excuse my misconception). All info is written by their frontman - Takaho. Russian get-up by Morbidity comes across as quiet an oddity together with blanketed freakazoid characters…
A beardy cuss with a delta-shaped monocle takes the centre of the picture... Frankly speaking, i am not a huge fan of live recordings, but, as for limited, it's not too bad at all. The Japanese recorded this material at german gig in 2008. I bet, the germans who are yelling in the background are satisfied as hell with this legend's live, ha!
And finally the russians' side. It was recorded in far 2000. By the way, Morbidity disbanded long ago, so the split can confidently be called a hangover from the past. Morbidity is, probably, the first russian band, announced itself as the mixture of punk, mincecore and grindcore.
So I highly recommend Morbidity to your attention. To sum up, this release is a goodly collector's piece. Unfortunately, recording quality is not up to the mark...
