Kae: Yahho!! When the tour was over, every time, I'm dead.
Kiyasu: Sleeping all day.
How did you come up with such name for the band? I’ve never seen such thing, when the name of the band is written on 3 languages.
Kiyasu: The band's name, "Sete Star Sept, " comes from a term used in pachinko, "7 star 7.” It has no meaning. "Sete" and "Sept" mean “seven” in Portuguese and French respectively.
This year you toured a lot in many countries. You literally lived in tour, was there any difficulties in such long trip? And is there a difference in underground scene depends on country.
Kae: I think the difficulty of the head I will be very stinky, not be able to use a long shower. I feel the people of each country as reflected in the band. You will feel that you know a little bit and roots music and history and culture through play.
Also this year SETE STAR SEPT released a lot of material. Did you record it in tour or at your homecountry?
Kae: I can not my brain to catch up.
Kiyasu: both. Basically we've been recording in my country. but sometime we will do on the tour.
I know that famous Shintaro Kago created the cover on a “Gero Me”. And who’s the artist on your new “Visceral Tavern”?
Kae: Artist Shintaro Kago “Visceral Tavern”His work is linked to our music.
Kiyasu: same as "Gero Me". Shintaro Kago did it.
What do your family and friends think about your music and how do they feel about you spending a lot of time touring?
Kae: Come up with some things that other people think, but the heart and words from different will not be able to guess at all to me.
Kiyasu: Yes, i don't care if my family and friends think we are creazy for a lot of tour.
Your position about releasing the material on physical format is worth respect. What do you think about the bands that sells their music through iTunes for about 7-10 dollars? Don’t you find it foolish? ‘Cause you could spend this money on CD. Do you look for a label or they find you and offers you their services?
Kiyasu: i like to work on physical format. we are also selling our songs on iTunes. I don't think anything to download music. i don't like only donwload release. it means no physical format. sometime record label asks to release something on physical format.
What is your opinion about a fact, that there is pretty big amount of splits in discographies of a lot of underground bands?
Kiyasu: I think it's a good way to deliver the sound of us to a lot of people.
SSS will celebrate a 10 years anniversary next year. Do you prepare some surprise for a fans?
Kae: Let's consider today.
Kiyasu: we are going to do big SE Asia tour, China&Korea tour, European tour, USA&Canada tour for next year. maybe we'll release something special release for 10 years anniversary.
I also heard that you are fans of Gerogerigegege. Maybe you know what’s happened to him? ‘Cause he performed and then disappeared, it would be interesting to know at least something about it.
Kiyasu: Yes, i'm fan of Gerogerigegege. i don't know what he is doing now. i'm just like his music, really don't care his life.
What will become with a humanity in 200 years?
Kae: I have decided to future people with an embedded chip.
