Recently I thought to myself that when it's winter, I mostly listen to the Scandinavian bands. Don't really know why, but it is what it is. And some time ago I found out about new Finnish band with hard-to-pronounce title Unohdettu Tulevaisuus. And now we're going to examine their EP that came out in 2015 called Päin näköö.
First thing that I paid attention to was relentless and overwhelming energy that's coming out from their music until the very end. Some might say that the sound here is far from perfect, and I agree, they still need to work on improving the sound, but I can't say that it's bad, just "okay". What's great, though, is two different vocals, one is rough and low, and the other is high screaming, sounds like troll's roar and his prey in the deep woods, lol))) Also I remembered this cute funny solo on one string on the last song, hehe. If you bought this release to support guys, but you don't have the needed music player, it has a little liner with a link to download this release (very practical and convenient, it's also a first time I've ever seen something like that). Unfortunately, every single track is on Finnish (one of the hardest languages in the world), oh, excuse me, there is one track on English called "Where are you, James?" and it's about a guy being in a drug hell.
In conclusion, I say that I liked that EP. Unohdettu Tulevaisuus deserves to be heard, so I highly recommend to check their Bandcamp at least.
