Herida Profunda - Herida Profunda (783 Landsberg Hardcore Crew)

My conversance with this album started with a quiet surprise. I know that Herida Profunda are Polish but I was disconcerted when I got the parcel with this CD from England. I started to retrieve info about theese guys and found out that one of them lives in Great Britain (I still wonder how guys rehearse, irrespective of such a distance...) It happens that album cover doesn't correspond to musical constituent. It is just the case. The design spurs on to think that I hold dark-hardcore or neo-crust album in my hands. Chiefly I was swindled with the lacquer logo. All this is really sombrous but stylish.
Furthermore... Intro is quiet out of standard, it places the listener in mystical atmosphere. But the very first track makes it plain that there is no doom metal bullshit, haha! You begin to understand that the whole material is gonna be lively and enjoyable. All 11 songs have a lovely metal sound. Hmm... The mix of hardcore and crustpunk is how the guys tag their stuff and I must notice that's all true. I even think that all material is more about hardcore than about crust. Almost all songs are different and this fact is really great! Especially, the song "Strach" has a really groove structure (I think that this track stands out of the whole album). I don't want to sound offensive to other musicians, but the bass sound is totally mind-boggling for me. It`s beautifully crusty.
