Radiation Vomit - Demo (Grindfather prod)

Radiation Vomit has become solid new blood in our small underground. I remember that a couple of years ago, this demo tape just blew my drunken out mind,haha! This band can really boost a massive load of crushing energy. Only consisting of two members RxVx makes a strong notable impression (it's hard to believe that only two guys can transform this brutal primitivity into such nasty noise). Somehow, this Californian duo have managed to create a surprisingly heavy and demonic ballsy sound. Drop of rot, huge spoon of low frequencies, and a bit of old school riffs and song structures... I guess thats pretty much the formula here. All the tracks are joined together into one powerful punch. The tracks stays in one pack, but that doesnt mean its getting boring, or bland. No, this is not just the same endless blasts, and primitive growls; Each song stands out from the next. Ferocious riffs,and crazy shifts in the tempos are just fascinating to me… These ungodly screams and gutwrenching roars can be compared to the yells of angry cavemen in heat, haha! I am freaking in love with this nuclear mix of energizing death metal and high speed of grindcore. This demo is very momorable, which is the main thing,and always very important for any band,but hard to accomplish. It has a lot of good and catchy moments. The whole recording sounds like one big and tasty slice of good old school essence. All these lovely noises, are hidden under this wicked kick ass artwork. The melting, rotting skull looks like a good visual answer to old death/grind cassettes. Gas mask, helmet and slimy remains of flesh. These are simple elements, but all put together, they are forming a nasty image that depicts the evil and dark atmosphere.
Great demo, and great debut, but 4 years has already passed, since this release. Unfortunately, our friends are a bit slow with making new material. (there has only been one split with Heinous and that's it). But im really hoping for more productivity,and new stuff, in the near future.
