Overviolence - Rapturous Expulsion (Nerve Altar)

What can a band with such name play? Gothic rock? Drone? Almost…
On the background of numerous fresh bands, Overviolence stands out for speed and aggression. That's why I love this grind-fast-violence dudes. I do not know what kind if personal lifes these people have, because in their songs they put a lot of aggression. And I must tell you, this type of musicians put a piece of their soul into the music they play... oh, somehow I really went into some deep philosophy
The first thing that struck me (when I got my hands on to this vinyl) was a very quirky but cool design. Never met anything as interesting and unusual as this. And in combination with a booklet(very funny collage probably a colletion of photos of band members themselves with their children, how cute, ahaha) that's just a blast!
Any music calls for some emotions, and sometimes it is a joy, and sometimes it's just vomiting reflex. Rapturous Expulsion calls for some real anger. I want to make at least couple of punches on the punching bag. The speed with which this trio plays their instruments deserves respect.
And here comes a bit of interesting information about Overviolence for you. These guys have recorded a lot of songs for splits with various bands but, no matter how silly it sounds, their last record was the first one that actually got released (in a physical form of course)
